| A guide for eight years in the game parks of South Africa and Tanzania, Warren Pearson's latest adventure was climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, rising 4600 meters (15,000 ft) from the base--a new experience for someone new to serious mountaineering. This time he was not guiding but being guided, so as to be in a better position to advise future clients who are interested in climbing the mountain. This is a day-by-day account of Warren's climb to the top: |
